We’re the market leader in the UK fresh prepared food industry - supplying meals, salads, desserts, pizza and bread to leading grocery retailers including Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.
Job Purpose:
In this busy and exciting interim role – you will lead the Commercial Finance Business Partnering relationship with a designated sector and act as the key conduit between all senior stakeholders across the matrix.
Providing a financial conscience for all major commercial decisions and ensuring all relevant analysis is available to inform these decisions, will be top of your agenda.
Working in tandem with key stakeholders, you will support the smooth transition of activity into the commercial finance insights team – ensuring that information / analysis provided is robust, timely, driving value, and supporting of constructive feedback.
Skills & Experience:
Ideally, you will be post qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and come from a Senior Commercial Finance background with a clear understanding of core commercial principles, controls and vision of what good looks like.
Strong commercial acumen, a firm understanding of dynamics impacting the market, evidenced examples of leading tender processes, driving margin improvement plans and influencing commercial decision making – is essential.
You will be clear and articulate communicator with strong leadership skills and ability to influence using a variety of techniques and affect positive change.
